Diana
The leopard print swimsuit with the collar strap, became a luxury collector's item after Princess Diana was captured in dozens of paparazzi photos wearing it, while on vacation.
The swimsuit was made especially for her after a meeting between the princess and the late Mrs. Leah Gottlieb, the first lady of Israeli fashion and the founder of Gottex. The meeting took place at the Gottex store inside the prestigious "Harrods" department store in London.
The images captured of the Princess wearing the Gottex swimsuit has since then become so iconic that the creators of the series "The Crown" approached Gottex with a request to sew the swimsuit especially for “Diana” to be featured in the show. To mark the occasion of the broadcast of the 6th season, Gottex decided to release a limited edition series of the iconic swimsuit. As expected, the series is called "Diana", and is available in two shapes: Collar tying, as in the original model and a two strap V-neckline.
